Hiro Fujimoto has received the Japan Past & Present's Spring 2024 Project Grant together with Karl Ian Uy Cheng Chua (University of the Philippines Diliman) and Eri Kitada (Ochanomizu University) for their project entitled “A New Perspective on the Representation of Japanese Women in Southeast Asia: Translation and Annotation of the Diary of Woman Scientist Yamamura Yaeko.”
